Mendon Ponds Park Map

A personal project which I remade the park and trail maps of Mendon Ponds Park. Originally did this project back in 2022, but with recent changes to the park and how I do designs, I figured it was time for an proper update.

The Project

Below is the updated park map that I designed based on the 2022 park and trail map that I created. This map has been updated to feature new trails, updated trail descriptions, and other improvements to help with the user experience, whenever they are a returning resident, or someone vising for the first time.

Users viewing the map electronically are now able to sow and hide layers, so more of the map can be easily seen when needed with just the tap of a button, as well as brought back in just a tap in any supported PDF viewer applications/apps..

In this example, the user hid the layers for the Pictograms and Road Names in Adobe Acrobat, allowing more of the actual map to be seen.

You can download this map for your next adventure! This map fits on a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, so it can easily be printed.

Comparison - 2022 to Now

Below is a comparison between the 2022 version of the project, and now. The 2022 version was more focused on quality of life improvements instead of a full redesign.
